Top ten travel quotes

Books, films, music, people...EVERYTHING can inspire you. One can find a source of inspiration wherever one looks. I draw my inspiration from all that. From the Narnia Chronicles. From The Blind Side. From my mother. From the two old Canadian ladies I met last year who was backpacking through UK. From the colourful sunrise on the beach.

Film review - Into the Wild

Sean Penn is still best known for being one of USAs best actors, however in recent years he's made mark for himself as a director with films like Indian Runner (1991), The Crossing Guard (1995) and The Pledge (2001). His latest accomplishment is Into the Wild (2007).

It's based on the true story of Chris McCandless, who after graduating from college with top level marks, left everything behind and travelled across US. After experiencing incredible things, he headed for the Alaska'n wilderness, where he was found dead August 1992.

But I wouldn't trade the memories I've gained from solo-travel for anything in the world. It has allowed me to experience things in a different way, my way. I've gotten to know myself in a whole new way and I'm still getting to know myself. There's no "social noise" around you, you get to make decisions by yourself.
